During this time of heightened community concern regarding COVID-19, Melbourne Allergy Clinic is adapting in order to keep looking after the health of our patients. At this stage, telehealth*/ phone consultations are being offered as an alternative to face-to-face consultations.
You may also call us if you have any questions about the suitability of making an appointment or any other concerns. Our dedicated administration team is here to help.
*What is Telehealth?
Telehealth is a video call appointment between you and our specialist. This means you stay at home, and our Doctor will call you via Coviu ( this is a very easy / user friendly and secure platform) you do not need to have an account, all you need is smartphone or tablet.
Simply go to https://drgaryunglik.coviu.com/room/@garyunglik-1 at the time of your appointment to enter the virtual waiting room. You will then be automatically connected at the start of the appointment.
What if an allergy test is required?
We can arrange for you to have a skin prick test at a later date if required, or alternatively we can provide a blood test form for an allergy test that can be done at your local pathology service.
What if I need a prescription/blood form/radiology form/allergy or anaphylaxis and asthma management plan?
The script can be emailed/faxed to your pharmacy, and the original sent to your pharmacy.
Allergy or anaphylaxis and asthma management plans/ Pathology or radiology forms will be emailed to you (which you can print and use).
